The VATSIM Board of Governors is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Steiner as Vice President – Pilot Training (VATGOV11).

Eric is a longstanding member of the VATSIM and the Pilot Training Department, having contributed significantly to the development and continued improvement of pilot training across the network. Through his years in PTD, he has played an important role in standardizing training resources, supporting fellow team members, and enhancing the learning experience for VATSIM pilots. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the department make him exceptionally well suited to lead its future initiatives.

As Vice President – Pilot Training, Eric will oversee the continued development of the network’s pilot training programs, working alongside the team to support a consistent, accessible, and high-quality training experience for pilots within the network.
