To bring the old Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy (TVCP) more in line with the Global Controller Administration Policy (GCAP), VATSIM is releasing an updated version of the Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy (TVCP) today. Some of the biggest changes include:

• Transfer and Visiting training requirements aligned with GCAP standards.
• (Re)defined Transfer and Visiting processes.
• Minimum S3 rating required for visiting outside of your home division.
• Minimum S2 rating required for visiting inside of your home division (only if allowed by divisional policy).
• Divisions / subdivisions must allow controllers from any region / division to visit.
• Divisions / subdivisions must allow controllers to visit any control position, both unrestricted and designated positions.

Divisions and subdivisions are required to be fully compliant with the updated VATSIM Transfer and Visiting Controller Policy (TVCP) by June 1st, 2024.
